Hello all , It’s so scary how quickly this year has flown by – it’s December in 2 days time and before we know it I’ll be writing my December newsletter …. My prototype kit ‘Olivia’ sculpted and produced by the incredible Elena Westbrook has arrived and there are blank kit photos to see on my website. She is a gorgeous small newborn/ larger preemie size and a little chunkier than her last sculpt Teyona. She’s a perfect weight at 7lb5oz and about 18.5” long.
She will be available to purchase when complete, which should be within the next 6-7 weeks . Please remember to join my Facebook group (link is on my website ) but it is called Cheryl’s Babies (Chemar Silicone Art Dolls) to see the latest updates or you can message me on my private fb Cheryl Martin. This weekend was the West Australian Reborn Doll show , and it was Amazing – so beautifully presented with beautiful Christmas displays. We all thoroughly enjoyed the day and even had a “high tea” – a truly wonderful day meeting new people and meeting customers in person for the first time and seeing friends There will be photos on my website of the venue and setting and vendor tables (including mine ).
I entered two babies into the competition , a micropreemie , and a preemie) , and was so honoured to win first place and best in each section (photos amongst the show photos ) I do have a few available babies left – 2 x 8” full body silicone Minis , the cloth body preemie , plus 2 cuddle babies (one is an open eye preemie and the other is a 0-3 month size ) There will be photos of these available babies on the website too . Please contact me for more details as to pricing etc , as it’s easier than putting many currencies and details on each . Custom wise , This sweet boy ‘Ireland’ is heading home to his happy mum this week , photos on my website of him too. I currently have 3 babies that are a Work in progress, so there will be progress photos of them in the December newsletter.
